Hey, chumbas!
It’s time to publish a recent creation. Diorama, thoughts about which were still half a year ago, before the dioramas of the garage and the pit lane. And probably it was necessary for the desire to mature.
The main inspiration, of course, was one of my favorite games (although I’m not an ardent player at all). Well, I didn’t take the general view out of my head. There are a couple of cool photos on the cyberpunk garage on request. I took an example from them.
I liked this Cyber topic even before the release of the game. The 5th element, the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep -> films Blade Runner, Lucy, Velirian, and other similar mortal dystopias and visions of the future with brightly poisonous colors, an oppressive and ultimatum world, beautiful with one and rejecting on the other side. Characters with “modified” values, and love for the “golden age”, because everything was always better before.
Johnny Silverhand’s Porsche represents this golden age of the Cyberpunk 2070 world. The only classic chariot among the cars of the future with a retro futuristic or high tech design. (I will not miss the chance to say that the designers who made the exteriors and interiors of cars in Cyberpunk, an incredible respect. 100 out of 100).
About the diorama, I wanted to make something compact, and as many details as I had enough patience and time. As a result, there was a garage for one car place + car lift.
3 out of 4 walls are fully decorated. The 4th wall from where the main pictures were taken was not made as unnecessary. Maybe later, maybe not.
Garage built on a 5cm foam base for easy carrying. Walls, floors – PVC. Extraction system – foil winding.
🪙Bought decor: car lift, a small shelf behind the lift, a table with tools and a table with chair at the entrance.
From the decor that I did myself / partially myself: a hood, crossbars, big shelf with decor behind the car lift, a TV and little things near it, an orange wall with decor elements (pistols, hooks, other small things), a lift-chain for cargo, the rest small decor.
Floor 5 mm PVC + 2 mm cardboard. Why? To cut a hole and insert a metal mesh, as on the prototype photo.
The black wire ended unexpectedly, so there are fewer wires on the floor (only 1) than expected….
Also made tarmac entrance into the garage. Paint, sandpaper.
Lighting: 1) sunlight through the front gate only 2) black honeycomb roof, led panel, light through colored paper.
Who will notice the input electronic panels like in Cyberpunk?)) And the posters?
Well, cherry on the pie – Arasaka bomb. There is a real plot from the game behind. Johnny Silverhand made a genocide (less then USA in Japan) when he installed a small atomic bomb in the headquarters building of the Arasaka corporation. According to legend, Arasaka’s own bomb was installed in the tower itself at the base, which was supposed to be activated by external penetration. However, as a result, there was only one explosion – from the Silverhand bomb. Arasaki’s bomb didn’t work. After the disaster, they say that Arasaka’s bomb was taken away, dragged away, smoderized …. and here it is in our diorama garage 🙂 yes, of course, the film about Oppenheimer that I watched the day before also prompted this idea. Let it serve as a decor in the corner.
Photos of interior of Cyberpunk garage:
It’s a bit of a shame that such a diorama got very specific. Not every car from my garage will fit here, but we’ll try.
Today I have already filmed several cars besides the Silverhand’s Porsche, but it will be later….
And now is Limited Porsche model 1/43 from Minichamps, 2077 pcs.
I’m patiently waiting for a new story in Cyberpunk, and I wish you a pleasant viewing of the photo. Comment if you liked it or not
