I have collected a few more interesting (in my opinion) models while building a NEW pit lane diorama (already at the finish line, waiting for the led stripe and a couple of little things to assemble). Here, all the cars are street cars, so I used my old tofu shop dioramas. Each will have its own post, so let’s start with…
Opel Manta B Mattig from the 1991 movie “Manta Manta” with Til Schweiger. It’s a good comedy about racers, and some of its moments now seem surreal, but despite that, the film is worthy. And this legend has a sequel, which will be released this year, almost with the same line-up… a la 30 years later. Mattig is a body kit for the Manta, and there is information and a registry available on the internet. BOS (Best of Show) is a scale model maker. The inscription “Kissling Motorsport” flaunts on the back of the car – a team that actively drove Opel Manta in the VLN series 🙂
I really like this puffy tuning from the early 90s and this coloring. In real life, it has a very original interior.
And yes, the background is not Germany at all, but Til just loves tofu, and that’s why he came to Takumi. Joke)
