This post is dedicated to interesting and revolutionary track and offroad vehicles in motor history – the well known all-wheel drive champion Porsche 959 and the much less popular, super rare and extremely unique French mega-track. Models are in on a 1/43 scale.
The second version of 959 Gruppo B prototype with series body and freaking awesome turbo rims. The first ever prototype model with significantly different frontal optics was also produced at 1/43 scale by Spark, it is still on the waiting list of mine). The model was made by MR Collection, and it’s limited to 100 pcs. The current model is #66.
The Aixam Mega Track is a massive offroader with a sports copy body, powered by a Merc V12. It was only 5 produced in this exact body version. The current 1/43 of the Mega track model was made by Ixo/Altaya. I like this version more for its better front optics with black frame.
The weight of the 1:1 Mega Track car is more then 2 tons, and the length of the body exceeds 5 meters! To compare: the length of 959 is only 4:26 meters. So you can see the actual body size difference in the photos. It’s huge. And its sports body type and shape really cause cognitive dissonance when you look at her.
